  • Needing some help w/ slimjet. Just did a fresh install due to getting a NVME drive. Slimjet will not remember me on websites when I log in, in between sessions. Once I close the browser it will log me out of everything regardless of website settings. ...  more

Pickle Your settings made no difference.
Tried IE11 just because, it works as expected.

beast-usa (Admin) Very odd I don't keep any cookies not even from Happy. So I always need to log back in every time I open & close the any browser. Did you un-install and go back to an older version and see if it works?

On uninstalls are you deleting everything in more

Pickle I reverted to a 17 series build and all is working as expected. Either something in Chromium 64 or SJ 18, did notice that the remember me check box on this site wasn't even there in the latest build. Wonder if there is a new fixed security setting in...  more

beast-usa (Admin) I still have the remember me box and I'm using the latest version of Chromium 64.0.3282.188 & Opera 51.0.2830.40 based on the newest version. I also see the box on Slimjet 18.0.1.0.

Could it be your Anti-Virus internet security settings? AVG & Avast are...  more

Pickle So this went away with the next build, seems like a bug that effected certain environments. No clue but resolved now

Absolutely get 2 at that price lol. Never seen them that low. Next up is a 27'' monitor. Gsync is right out due to price so I'll probably get an ips display

So Corsair RMA is painless, setup for an advanced RMA also.  Got upgraded to the hx750i so I can literally watch how much energy I consume lol.  Free upgrade to platinum though is nice.Oh yeah, picked up a Gigabyte 980ti xtreme gaming for under $250 :)

I use handbrake, and I must say that Ryzen is an absolute beast in that respect.  Cut my encode time, literally, almost in half from my oc'd 8320.  And I'm only running this thing stock 'till I figure out what is going on.Gaming has the same...  more

From actual power readings, encoding only really stresses the cpu, fraction of my ram, and like 10% of a hard drive.  Gaming pulls about 150-200 watts more and ramps the cpu, ram, and gpu.  Would think encoding is harder but in most cases your...  more

Yeah, but watch the price difference that Intel will want for that chip.beast-usa said:Man AMD can't get a break!I was looking at the 16 core 32 thread Ryzen then I see the new X299 Asus Rampage VI Apex with a 18 core 36 thread intel first TERAFLOP CPU! LOL

So this entire time I've been dealing with random hard reboots during gaming that I wanted to believe was the bios.  After a few bios updates, I've finally swapped in a second PSU to see if somehow my corsair HX bit the dust several years early (4...  more

I had AAAAAALMOST converted, but you'll never be able to taint me.  Last Intel I had was a slot style (what the hell did we call these) PIII 733.  From there to the mobile athlon units that you could o/c by over 100%.  That NF7-S and 2400M...  more

MSI put out a bios this week finally, actually a pretty stable bios aimed at getting stock functionality working.  Ram is still not officially supported at higher than 2666 by AMD, but it's no longer causing crashes and such.  Single rank...  more

Corsair LPX, it's in the first post.

I can't get it up to speed, let alone faster.  AMD release was a mess.  Opening agesa code from AMD actually had ram speed settings disabled which is why we believe we can't get ram to speed up, it's...  more

Well 1700 is where to go, 17x and 18x are just better binned but they all are seeming to cap at the same 4 gigs.  Even exotic cooling can't make them go much faster yet.  Bios may change there.  There's some scuttle butt that there are...  more

There was a mess with getting many 10 boxes updated to the anniversary update.  Before this build, I got mine to take by updating every driver, going in safe mode, and disconnecting all usb devices and sata drives.  Finally took.

    But...  more

Those are post anniversary update builds, fixed a lot and got it to where it probably should have been at release.

I gave up worrying about resource usage on ram.  I don't feel a slow down and there's zero point in having a pile of ram just to minimize it's usage.  I didn't check a clean boot stats, but with my full load out of every day stuff, I'm...  more

Time for more pics!  OK, so this first one.... moved my Sound Blaster Z over to this build, absolutely love the sound quality.  Absolutely hate the red led that shine down so you'll NEVER SEE THE WINDOW but it'll wreck any color scheme....  more

More pics coming tomorrow.  And no, it was just google drive being a bastard, have to manually change the link.

So I'll be using this rig for gaming and video encoding.  So far, the chip is performing FAR more snappy than the 8350 lol....  more
