Actually this is for the Geeks Corner but have know way to start a topic there, but I found this article very interesting and hope all the Geeks out there will like it. Personally I use Display Port on my build and it does work great if you buy quality cables.
Both HDMI and DisplayPort are capable of sending high-definition video and audio from a source device to a display. So what's the difference? Is one display interface standard superior or more flexible compared to the other? We'll try to answer those quest

One 40 on HDMI & one 40 on Display port and she saw the difference right away!

I'm running displayport to displayport. Displayport from Video card to Displayport on the monitor. Works great, but as with all cables they must be high quality or they take a dump like mine did.
